Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha Receives Grant through CARSTAR
CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts shops in Omaha and Lincoln presented a check for $1,500 to Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha.
Alyssa DeFrain, Development Officer for Children’s Hospital & Medical Center Foundation, visited a recent business group meeting where she was awarded the check. The CARSTAR shops applied for and received a grant from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation on behalf of Children’s Foundation.
DeFrain said all funds raised for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) in their market area stay in Nebraska and benefit the programs and services Children’s Hospital & Medical Center provides to regional families.
“This generous grant from Enterprise Holdings Foundation will support important programs, life-saving equipment and vital research to help Children’s Hospital & Medical Center meet kids’ unique healthcare needs,” DeFrain said. “We are very grateful for this gift that will benefit children from across our region.”
The four Omaha/Lincoln CARSTAR locations are locally owned franchises of CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts. This was the first donation the Nebraska CARSTAR shops have made to a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
