The owners of Northwest Auto Body Repair feel that is important for our business to give back to the city and neighborhood we live and work in.  We have demonstrated this thru several community service projects over the last few years.

Northwest Repairs Another Recycled Rides for Women’s Fund

The CARSTAR body shops have donated cars to the Women’s Fund of Omaha for the last six years.  Northwest CARSTAR has repaired three of these cars.

Maurisa Machacha received keys to a Ford Taurus in October of 2014.  Machacha is a 20 year old self supporting young woman who has overcome major obstacles as she pursues her goals.  She was nominated by Goodwill Industries’ Partnership for Youth Program and chosen by the grant committee at the Women’s Fund.

The Taurus was a salvage vehicle donated by State Farm Insurance.  The vehicle was repaired and refurbished by Northwest CARSTAR technicians.  Recycled and Aftermarket parts were donated by LKQ and Keystone.

“Recycled Rides” is a national awareness program in which body shops repair and donate used vehicles to families in need. This is a project of the National Auto Body Council.

The Make-A-Wish Nebraska Chapter received a check for $9,569 from the Omaha/Lincoln CARSTAR shops.  The money was earned from selling raffle tickets and mulligans at our Eleventh Annual Golf Tournament at Quarry Oaks,our golf tournament, pin donations and grants from Enterprise Holdings Foundation.

Lauren Piller from the Omaha office accepted the check.  The Make-A-Wish Foundation is the charity for CARSTAR Auto Body Repair shops across the nation.
